Digitizing and standardizing place-based data
Back in the time before the Digital Reef, we worked with Jet Boating New Zealand on some ground breaking research. Along the way, we digitized their Rivers Handbook and set the path for them to create their own geodatabase.

Mapping meaningful places visible to Council
The DR has provided detailed 3D visualizations that illustrate the use of Airspace by paragliders, hang gliders and mini-wing pilots. Often overlooked because of their light-touch on the ground, the loss of landing areas remains an ever present threat nationwide.

Place-based Databases Cataloging National Taonga
The DR will support FMC with its place-based projects with scalable solutions for data capture, management and storage. This support will flow though to all of FMC's member groups as well.
